Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 October 2026
This policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with the website at ignitebase.online. It is written to meet the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and, because the publisher is established in France, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
The organisation responsible for personal information connected with this site is BELLE & NATURELLE, a company registered in France.
BELLE & NATURELLE
Rue Nicolas Appert, 39800 Poligny, France
Company number: 842733602
VAT: FR93842733602
Email: info@ignitebase.online
In this policy, "the publisher" means BELLE & NATURELLE.
2. What is collected
Very little. The site has no forms, accounts, newsletters, comments, analytics, advertising tags or social media embeds, and it sets no cookies. Two kinds of personal information can still arise.
Server logs
When your browser requests a page, the web server that hosts the site automatically records a log entry. Each entry contains your IP address, the user agent string your browser sends (which describes the browser and operating system), the address requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, the response status and the date and time. The publisher does not combine these logs with any other information and does not use them to identify individuals.
Email you send
If you email info@ignitebase.online, the publisher receives your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write.
Not collected
The site does not collect payment details, account details, location data beyond what an IP address implies, or information about your activity on other websites. It uses no cookies, local storage, session storage or fingerprinting techniques.
3. Why it is collected
Server logs are kept to keep the site running and secure: to diagnose errors, detect and respond to abuse such as automated attacks, and understand load on the server. They are not used for marketing or profiling.
Email is used only to read your message and reply to it, and, where you ask, to act on a correction or privacy request.
The publisher collects this information because it is reasonably necessary for operating the site and responding to correspondence, consistent with APP 3.
4. How long it is kept
- Server logs: rotated daily and deleted after 14 days.
- Email correspondence: kept for up to 24 months after the last message in a conversation, then deleted, unless it relates to a complaint or legal matter, in which case it is kept until that matter is resolved.
5. Who it is disclosed to
The publisher does not sell, rent or share personal information for marketing. Personal information is disclosed only to:
- The hosting provider whose infrastructure runs the web server, located in the United States, which processes server logs as part of providing that service.
- The email service that delivers and stores mail for the info@ignitebase.online address, as part of providing that service.
- Authorities, where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
The site loads no fonts, scripts or other resources from any third-party host, so your browser makes no requests to other companies while you read it. If you follow a link to another site, including the paid affiliate link, that site's own privacy policy applies from that point.
6. Cross-border disclosure (APP 8)
Personal information connected with this site is disclosed to recipients outside Australia. The publisher is based in France, and server logs are held by a hosting provider in the United States. Email may be processed in the European Union and other countries where the email service operates. The publisher takes reasonable steps to ensure these recipients handle the information consistently with the APPs, including using providers bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
7. Security
- The whole site is served over HTTPS, so pages travel between the server and your browser encrypted.
- The site has no database of user information, which limits what could be exposed.
- Access to the server and its logs is limited to the publisher and its hosting provider, and protected by authentication.
- The email account is protected by authentication and accessed only by the publisher.
8. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles
You can ask for access to personal information the publisher holds about you and ask for it to be corrected. In practice this will usually be email correspondence, as logs are not linked to names. Write to info@ignitebase.online. The publisher will respond within 30 days and will not charge for a request.
If you have a concern about how your personal information has been handled, email the publisher first, describing the issue. If you are not satisfied with the response, or have not received one within 30 days, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. The OAIC explains the process on its privacy complaints page. You can read the principles themselves on the OAIC's Australian Privacy Principles page, and the Act on the Federal Register of Legislation.
9. Data breaches
If a data breach likely to result in serious harm to anyone occurs, the publisher will notify affected individuals and the OAIC as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires, and, for people covered by the GDPR, the relevant supervisory authority within the GDPR's time limits.
10. Children
This site is not directed at people under 16 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the site has no forms or accounts, the only way a child's information could reach the publisher is by email; if a parent or carer believes this has happened, contact the publisher and the email will be deleted.
11. Information for people covered by the GDPR
BELLE & NATURELLE is the controller of personal information described in this policy.
- Legal basis. Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): keeping the site secure and working. Email correspondence is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in answering messages sent to the publisher. Consent is not relied on, because the site sets no cookies and collects nothing that would require it.
- Your rights. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email the publisher to use any of them.
- Complaints. You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work. In France, the authority is the CNIL.
- Transfers. Where server logs are held in the United States, the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the hosting provider's terms, such as standard contractual clauses.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new effective date. If a change introduces any new collection of personal information, such as a cookie or a form, the policy will be updated before that change takes effect, and the change will be noted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
